Questions About the 2008 Season Program

Q.	Does Operation Teen Author Cost Money?
Ans.	First things first. Operation Teen Author understands that for the most part, most teenagers do not have many discretionary funds. This is one of the reasons that the parents of the participant must be involved. Unfortunately, everything in life has a price tag added to it. But that is not all bad. With an investment on the part of the participant it gives more dedication to make a greater effort. Fortunately, it is an investment and if you follow your Team Manager's instructions your efforts will pay off and you will recuperate the money you put into the project and more than likely make additional money for your own use.

Q.	How long does the Program Last?
Ans.	May 15th is the deadline for all applications. Sometime in between then and May 30th the participants will be chosen. On June 1st Operation Teen Author begins! It will then run until the end of the year, for seven months with the book scheduled out sometime in the fall.

Q.	How much does this opportunity cost?
Ans.	The registration fee for the Operation Teen Author Program is $2495. This includes all of the costs for the entire course. Other items such as OTA Mode Apparel is apart. For a greater detailed list see the following FAQs.

Q.	What is included in the participation fee?
Ans.	It is a seven month course. Each participant belongs to a team mentored by a Team Manager. There will be weekly group calls and unlimited e-mail correspondence with the Team Leader. There will be teleseminars or webinars that cover the many subjects to be taught. Of course, it requires that one chapter, 1200 - 1500 words be written by the participant but there will be help for that every step of the way. Once the book is published, 100 hard bound copies will be sent to the participant's house to be autographed and sold by the participant to his or her fans. Each participant will be instructed how to build a personal website which is also included. Access to Operation Teen Author forum and related websites and well as discounts on other products is given as well. These are just some of the planned goodies and events. There is a big surprise in the works as well.

Q.	When do I pay my money?
Ans.	First of all you have to apply. If you cannot convince the staff of Team Leaders that you should be on one of their teams then you do not need to worry about paying. If you are chosen to participate, then you will be instructed where to pay the fee for the course. That also requires that you have a signed permission by your parent or guardian to participate unless you are 18 or 19 years of age.

Q.	Why does it cost so much?
Ans.	This first 2008 OTA will be under priced. Programs with similar attention and length are double in price. But we are willing to do that in the beginning. Next year with the popularity it will be a different story.
